STORY
In the nineteenth century Mr. Fernando Pérez-Tabernero founded this saga of farmers who had come to this day. For one side unites this prestigious surname, Pérez-Tabernero, and another is what´s happenning to their children, excellent brave cattle ranchers Mr. Graciliano, Mr. Argimiro, Mr. Antonio and Mr. Alipio that they carried with dignity and honor back where they go.
In 1920, D. Graciliano takes on a very important tip cows at Conde de Santa Coloma, ibarreña line, but with significant portions of Saltillo; in fact with this line of cows traveled stallions "Mesonero" and "Cristalino", the last with the iron of his brother the Marques of Albaserrada, pure Saltillo breed.

Mr. Alipio, «the famous farmer of the pin», when saw what they were brave these copies had adquired to his brother Mr. Graciliano and the wisdom of its purchase, he buys him an important quantity of cows with the stallion "Hornero" in 1924 which begins to settle their livestock shortly after it sued in all fairs of Spain and the figurer of the bullfighting at the time, reaping great successes in bullrings such as Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Pamplona, Salamanca, Bilbao ...

take the alternative with a bull of Mr. Alipio, the bull "Guapito" with
which he won a major victory.
Mr.
Alipio in the contest bullfight of the bullring of Santa María de
Bogota, Colombia, winning the prize for most brave bull, which is
pardoned, that copy was bought by the Colombian livestock Miss Clara
Sierra.
As early as 1958, Mr. Alipio
begins to divide their livestock among their children, and this is the
year when Mr. Ignacio Pérez-Tabernero Sánchez, son of renowned breeder
and father of the current owners of livestock, begins to form their
livestock with cows and a stallion named "Guarrito".
In
1962 begin done the first products Mr. Ignacio for bullrings in Spain and
France, while maintaining the strictest purity and faithfulness by
Santa Coloma breed, which continues to this day. |

Mr. Ignacio in 1967 decided to refresh its herd, and buy to D. Joaquin
Buendía (pure Santa Coloma breed), at the peak of this livestock, a
stallion called "Fuentecillo" which breed several years.

He starts, Mr. Ignacio, to mark a path, a path which is truncated in
1992 when he dies, but that he still wanted in their children, Ignacio,
Joaquin and Fernando Pérez Silos, which remain absolutely faithful to
this breed, the Santa Coloma breed, getting big hits and highlighting
this as livestock of the few pure that keeps Spanish brave livestock.

In 2000 no longer advertise livestock as Sons of D. Ignacio
Pérez-Tabernero and will become known as the "Hoyo de la Gitana", a
name that comes from the Farm possessing these brothers, Ignacio,
Joaquin and Fernando.

Feed this cattle ranching in the Houses
"Galleguillos" in the municipality of Vecinos in the province of
Salamanca and the Farm "Gamonal" at Perales del Puerto in the province
of Caceres.
Several ranchers have
chosen females and stallions of this bull to refresh their farms or
start them both in Spain and America. |
